The last ten nights of Ramadan are the most blessed. Among them is Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree, worth more than a thousand months (Qur'an 97:3). Every act of charity in these nights is multiplied beyond our comprehension.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (Tirmidhi)
He also said: “Whoever gives in charity the equivalent of a single date from pure earnings, Allah accepts it with His Right Hand and causes it to grow until it becomes like a mountain.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

The recent tragedies in Gaza have left countless families without food, homes, or even hope.

A mother in Gaza cradles her crying child, unable to answer when he asks, "What will we eat tonight, Mama?" Her hands tremble as she strokes his hair, the sound of his hungry cries piercing her heart. Empty pots sit on cold stoves, a daily reminder of her helplessness.
In Afghanistan, a widow lies awake, listening to the shallow breathing of her six children sleeping on empty stomachs. She wipes away silent tears, wondering if tomorrow will be kinder.
On the border of Syria and Turkey, a Syrian refugee family huddles together in their tent they now call home, their hunger pain – a constant companion, as Ramadan arrives with both spiritual richness and physical deprivation.
These aren't just statistics—these are real people with stories, dreams, and children who look to them for safety. Their plates sit empty while we prepare our own iftar tables.
IACharity's volunteers walk through rubble and destruction to reach families forgotten by headlines. We see their eyes light up with relief when food arrives—not just because hunger will be temporarily relieved, but because at that moment, they know they haven't been abandoned.
Last year, we witnessed mothers collapse in gratitude as we provided 50,000 hot meals and 2,000 food boxes to families who had nothing. But as conditions worsen and more families lose everything, the need has grown desperately.
This Ramadan, 100,000 meals and 5,000 family food boxes stand between survival and starvation for our brothers and sisters in crisis.

🚨 Children Will Sleep Hungry Tonight: Right now, volunteers at Sudki’s Kitchen in Gaza are trying their best to NOT turn away families because we simply don't have enough food to feed everyone who comes.
🚨 A Mother's Worst Nightmare Becomes Reality: "Yesterday I mixed water with a spoonful of flour to make my children think they were eating soup," confessed Aisha, a Syrian refugee. Without your help, thousands more will face this heartbreaking reality during the blessed month.
🚨 The Weakest Among Us Will Suffer Most: Elderly parents, pregnant women, and small children—those whose bodies can least withstand hunger—will bear the heaviest burden if we fail to meet our goal of 100,000 meals and 5,000 family food boxes this Ramadan.

When eight-year-old Yusuf received his first hot meal from our kitchen in Gaza, he didn't immediately eat it.
