Why I Fundraise for IAC

In 2022, at just 13 years old, I traveled with International Aid Charity and witnessed devastation I will never forget. I met orphans who had lost everything, families living through unimaginable hardship, and children whose stories broke my heart. 

But I also saw hope, volunteers serving with compassion, food being distributed with dignity and communities strengthened through mercy.

That experience changed me. It made the suffering real. It gave names and faces to the word “Ummah.”

I fundraise for IAC because I’ve seen firsthand the impact of their work, from feeding displaced families and supporting orphans to supporting emergency needs on a case by case basis.

One of these impromtu aids came as we met a woman who was a prisoner of war.  Her face was burned with acid so severely she couldn't open her mouth to eat.  Within a month of our return, IAC was able to provide her with the funds and the professional help to receive the surgery she so badly needed. 

IAC made a promise and kept it. I have witnessed that every dollar raised becomes real relief for real people.

This isn’t just charity to me. It’s personal. 💚
